Sift the flour and guar gum in a bowl, add the sugar, baking soda, oil and water. Mix using an electric hand mixer and once everything is incorporated, add the jam and mix for one more minute.

Pour the mixture into a pan lined with baking paper, and bake for 35 minutes at 180 °C.

For the glaze, whisk in a non-stick saucepan the sugar, cacao and water. When the sugar has dissolved, add the margarine and whisk until it thickens up.

Take the cake out of the oven and pour the glaze over it, letting it cool down. Cut this gluten free jam cake into 8-12 pieces.
