To get started with one of the easiest gluten free holiday desserts, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Steps

1
Done

In a bowl, mix the melted butter, 125 g of icing sugar and the sachet of vanilla sugar until the mixture becomes foamy. Add the egg and mix for another 2 minutes. Gradually add the ground almonds and sift the flour and guar gum. Wrap the dough in cling film and place it in the fridge for 1 hour.

2
Done

Line two baking trays with baking papers and preheat the oven at 220 ° C. Use a rolling pin to press the dough into a thickness of 2 mm. Use different shapes to cut the crackers.

3
Done

Transfer the crackers into the baking trays and bake them for 8 to 10 minutes, until they become brownish. Mix the remaining icing sugar with the orange juice, until a thick coating forms up. Pour it over the crackers and use any of the following toppings: small multicolor balls, almond & coconut flakes, or icing sugar.
